The name “Until Forever” came to us naturally after a great friend of ours, Tom Linnemann, who goes by the nickname John Sharkman on Instagram, asked for Tim Jr.’s “Venmo Address.”

Tom has been a sort of Uncle to Tim and really connected with him over the years.  One Saturday after our exchange, I gave him his Venmo account.

Tom sent him $100 to “have some drinks with your buddies on “Uncle Shark.”  He was a mix of surprised, excited, and grateful.  He then posted this photo at the UCF Knights football game thanking him.

In this Instagram story there is a student sitting in front of him in a t-shirt that reads “Until Forever,” and sadly, it was his last story he posted before he was murdered in downtown Orlando just days later.  The heartfelt message and appreciation he had was something he wanted to share with the world.  That’s how his heart worked.  That was his character.  He was beyond appreciative for people that helped him and would go above and beyond to help them back.

And that’s why we are here, Until Forever, helping others to continue the legacy of my son, Tim Schmidt Jr.
